The Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) is the highest professional degree for those engaged in local church and parachurch ministries.
This program is structured to improve the leadership qualities of a ministry leader while sharpening their discernment and focus within their area of ministry.
Doctor of Ministry Goals
On completing the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree, you will be able to :
- Integrate biblical and theological reflection with knowledge about the practice of ministry.
- Advance your personal and professional development within the context of your current ministry.
- Implement new models of ministry for enhanced effectiveness in areas pertinent to your primary context of service.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DOCTORATE DEGREE
To be considered for acceptance into the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program at Beracah International Theological Seminary, an applicant must have completed either of the following :
- Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree (or equivalent theological master’s degree of at least 72 credit hours).
- M.Div. equivalency of 72 credit hours of graduate-level coursework, with at least 48 credit hours being graduate-level seminary credits.
- An applicants to the Doctor of Ministry program should have :
- High intellectual achievement and scholarship as evidenced by college transcripts and the applicant’s writing sample;
- Spiritual maturity, integrity of character and willingness to grow as a leader;
- Personal goals consistent with the mission of Beracah International Theological Seminary (BITS).
